Char Food Guide make a Valentia Island Vermouth Spritz!

The good people from Char Food Guide have made a Valentia Island Vermouth Spritz! Hannah and Conor from Char Food Guide rocked out this vermouth cocktail and this is what they said:

We were feeling down because of the ever-changing weather, so we decided to make some sunshine in a glass with Valentia Island Vermouth ☀️🍹

@valentiaislandvermouth is the creation of wife-and-wife team Anna and Orla Snook O’Carroll. On one of Ireland’s most remote patches, they use a blend of 20 different local and exotic botanicals to create the complex and versatile flavour of their vermouth.  Wild gorse foraged on the island brings out a distinct coconut note to the sweet and spicy elixir, while handmade caramel gives it a smooth richness.

It’s a perfect all-rounder, an ideal sipper on a hot summer’s day or a cosy tipple beside the fire in the dark of winter.

Enjoy it over ice, neat, in a Negroni, or in countless other iterations. We had ours as a spritz—the quintessential summertime refreshment 🍊

You can enjoy it this weekend at Another Love Story or make your own at home. Just follow these steps:
1. Add a slice of orange to a large glass or goblet
2. Add a lot of ice
3. Add 50 ml of Valentia Island Vermouth
4. Add 100 ml of Prosecco or Cava
5. Optionally, stir in a small bit of soda for more bubbles

Enjoy Valentia Island Vermouth responsibly.
