Anna and Orla O’Carroll are the wife and wife team, proudly making Ireland’s first vermouth.
Having met in art school in Bristol they moved to their little cottage on Valentia Island off the coast of Co.Kerry in 2018.
They married at the lighthouse after falling in love with the island, the people and the place, with the bottle telling an island love story, steeped in botanicals, salt and wild winds.
Orla originally from Greystones in Co.Wicklow first set foot on Valentia when she was a youngster as her father is a beekeeper from Co. Kerry. His knowledge of local plants was passed down to Orla for the making of this unique vermouth.
Anna and Orla completed SuperValu’s renowned Food Academy and launched onto the shelves of Ireland in 2021.
